All swimmers are required to have athletic/tennis shoes,
water bottle, shorts, and shirt in addition to their
swimming equipment to participate in dry-land exercises.
All swimmers should also have the appropriate swimming gear. This information is on the
web site. If your swimmer doesn't have all the equipment
listed for their group, please go to the Life Guard Store to
purchase the equipment needed. If you'd like us to be able
to return misplaced equipment, please make sure names or
initials are on all items.
In order to get practice started on time, we need to have
all swimmers arrive at the pool 10 to 15 minutes before
practice begins so we can get the lane lines and backstroke
flags in place. It is very important that our young
swimmers learn the importance of being on time. We realize
that you might be late once in a while due to work or
traffic, but there should be no swimmers that come late to
practice on a regular basis. If you will be late on a
regular basis due to work or other scheduling conflicts,
please let me know ahead of time so I can make a note in our
attendance book. If your swimmer(s) come late to practice
on a regular basis and you do not have a conflict, I will
contact you to discuss the need to be on time.
